Pilot Part 1 - Meet Me at The Weight Pit

"When we were kids going to school we heard shots ringing. It's not normal to hear gunshots at seven in the morning when you're getting up for school."

We meet our hosts, Hector ("Hec") Guadalupe and Max Yampolsky; Hector, a successful Brooklyn-based entrepreneur that founded UniBody Fitness and A Second U Foundation, and Max, an award-winning director and digital marketer. They didn't meet at a fancy restaurant or black tie event. They met in federal prison.

Pilot Part 2 - Meet Me at The Weight Pit

"Imagine a job where you clean an HVAC system - you're up there on your hands and knees, crawling through the prison innards and all of a sudden you get a panic attack. I was stuck in there and non-responsive. I thought I had a stroke."

Co-hosts, Max & Hec, discuss growing up in NYC at the height of the crack epidemic in the 1980's and unpack what led to their crimes, eventual incarceration, and the impact it still has on them and their families.
